Skincare that respects melanin
Oryl started in a Nairobi kitchen in 2019, after years of watching friends damage their skin with bleaching creams sold as brightening. We wanted the opposite: formulas that even tone by supporting the skin, not stripping it.
How we formulate
Every product starts with a concern, not an ingredient trend. We test on deep skin tones from the first prototype, and we publish active percentages on every label.
Nothing leaves our lab with hydroquinone, mercury or steroids. What stays: kojic acid, azelaic acid, alpha arbutin, niacinamide, ceramides and East African shea and argan.
